Aims & Goals

At Pink Elephant, our first priority is excellent childcare. We aim to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment for the children in our care. We are a “home away from home”. We build a community that recognizes the needs of each child and offers a variety of activities in a positive learning environment.

Throughout the year, children are involved in the activities that promote learning, respecting and appreciating many different cultures, religions and ethnic backgrounds. Ukrainian culture is incorporated into this program, with activities such as baking Easter bread, decorating Easter eggs, and participating in Christmas and Easter blessings. We also celebrate Canadian Holidays such as Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter.
